Threads of Connection

This experience encourages an engaging and interactive approach that fosters genuine connection while bringing the theme to the forefront. Rather than being a passive exercise, it is designed to get everyone involved, working both within their own tables and across groups to form meaningful links. The format uses a simple but powerful concept, an interactive thread game. Participants will begin by working in groups of eight to ten at their tables, starting with small, personal connections. From there, the activity extends outward, prompting people to build links with other groups. Each individual contributes to the creation of an art piece that reflects their personal input while also forming part of their table’s collective design. These individual and team artworks will then come together to create a larger installation sculpture, which will remain in the office as an ongoing reminder of collaboration and unity.

This approach achieves several outcomes. It builds team spirit by encouraging individuals to collect threads through as many genuine interactions as possible, with the added incentive of a shared table “win.” It strengthens collaboration, as participants work together to bring their ideas to life in a creative and cohesive way. Beyond teamwork, the activity encourages reflection on the attributes and values that matter both personally and collectively, creating space for deeper conversations and insights. Most importantly, it opens opportunities for new connections, helping participants build familiarity, spark fresh relationships, and create touchpoints that extend beyond the event.
